A discount mortgage means that for a set period, you enjoy a discount off our standard variable mortgage rate. So your repayments are lower to start with – leaving you with extra cash.

At Alliance & Leicester, we offer a number of different types of discount mortgage so you have the choice of repayment terms whilst still benefiting from the initial discounted rate.

FeeSaver mortgage

If you are looking to move home or move your mortgage from your current lender, our Fee Saver mortgages are designed to help with some of the costs involved in transferring your mortgage from your current lender. Remortgage customers can opt to receive £250 cashback or can take advantage of our free Mortgage Transfer Service* which saves on legal fees, and makes the process hassle free. There is no product fee and a free valuation^‡ ^‡.

Applying for a discount mortgage is simple and we aim to keep the application process as straightforward as possible. At Alliance & Leicester, we do whatever we can to keep your paperwork and costs down, every step of the way. You can apply for a mortgage over the phone or alternatively, you can call into your local Alliance & Leicester branch.
