Applying for a remortgage

When you apply for your mortgage, our mortgage Borrowing calculator can help to give a rough guide of how much you are able to borrow, based on the information you supply. You could remortgage the exact amount remaining on your existing mortgage, or borrow more to take advantage of any equity in your home. Please note that all our mortgages are subject to status and valuation, and available to UK residents only aged 18 or over.

After you have received your remortgage quote and chosen the remortgage deal that’s right for you, you can apply for your mortgage over the telephone or by When you remortgage with us, we arrange a valuation of your home and will also take care of the legal work required, usually at no cost to you.
